Judy brings 20 years of expertise in wellness, longevity, biohacking, skin health, nutrition, and fitness. Her services include concept and brand development, market research and feasibility studies, project management, budgets and finances, pre-opening, recruitment and training, retail development as well as on-going spa management. Judy’s mission is growing and transforming existing businesses with revenue and growth strategies including audits and reviews, menu engineering, treatment, technology and technical advisory services.

An established skincare expert, Judy has designed over 500 skincare, teas, candles and natural fragrances for brands globally. She curates unique treatments for spa and skincare brands as well as helps to elevate treatments and programs to be relevant and results-orientated. Judy has consulted with leading spa brands including Jurlique international, Synthesis Organics, Dewa, Ila-Spa, Karma Spas, Oneworld Ayurveda, Botany-the vegan alchemist, Ilapothecary and Vanessa Megan to name a few.

Judy is a prolific copywriter in the wellness industry, crafting copy for brands globally. She is the former Editor-in-Chief of Spa Asia magazine, Wellness Editor for New York’s Venu lifestyle magazine and author of 4 books.  Her insightful articles have been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Mindfood, Jetstar airline magazine, Destinasian, The Singapore Business Times, and The Sydney Morning Herald to name a few.

Judy was a finalist in the ‘2023 Spa Consultant of the Year’ and is a regular judge for spa and wellness awards globally. She often contributes to annual trends reports including the ‘Wellness Sabbatical’ trend for the Global wellness Summit 2020 Global Trends Report.

Synthesis
Organics

Synthesis Organics is an upscale Australian certified organic skincare and treatment brand manufactured in an eco-factory in the Byron Bay hinterland and is featured on the menu at leading spas globally. Their products and treatments are found in the world’s most luxurious spas including Capella Sydney and Four Seasons Sayan in Bali.

For several years, Judy has worked as a brand consultant for this leading sustainable brand. She has been hired during various stages of the brands growth including spa treatment and menu development, packaging review, content writing and PR sales & marketing strategies.

Oneworld
Ayurveda

Spa and brand consultant for this leading Ayurvedic Pancharkma detox retreat brand based in Bali, Indonesia.

Scope of services over the years have included spa advisory, concept and design consulting.

In 2023, hired to co-create Phase 1 of Oneworld’s retail collection Ayurvedic body oils, facial oils, and accessories. Consultant for the reimagination of the Bali Botanica Ayurvedic day spa located in Ubud.

International

Jurlique is an Internationally renowned biodynamic skincare brand with flagship spas and beauty store partnerships all over the world. The sustainable products are all created on a farm outside of Adelaide in Australia with many organic ingredients harvested locally.

Judy worked with key stakeholders on elevating the brand into the global wellness space with projects including menu development and conducting comprehensive reviews and audits of spa treatments. Additionally, Judy contributed to copywriting for the new menu set to launch in 2025.
